Why should employers get involved with the Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps Center? An excellent question asked by many employers with several positive answers. The following are only a few of the many reasons why a relationship with Job Corps makes good business sense:

What's in It for Me?

• By hiring a Job Corps graduate, you receive well-trained employees with support from Job Corps staff.
  Translation: A decent employee and your own private support system!
• Businesses who participate in our work based learning programs get the opportunity to employ students in both paid and unpaid positions.
  Translation: More help when you need an extra hand!
• The chance to make a difference in a young person’s life by mentoring a young person; this might be helping them prepare for a job interview or critiquing their resume.

• Share your employment expectations by coming to Center to tell our students about your work place, and by allowing them to take a tour of your business.
