Health Occupations Training

If you like caring for people in need, this is the trade for you. Health Occupations Training offers you an opportunity to obtain a Certified Nursing Assistant license. Students are taught how to respond to directions from a supervisor, safety precautions, medical terminology, infection control concepts, anatomy and physiology, core procedures for health care, ethics and confidentiality, basic human needs, the aging process, the roles and responsibilities of a nurse assistant, infection control, and emergency procedures. We offer courses in EKG technology, phlebotomy, and environmental aide for selected students. Once students have mastered the program, they are able to take the test to become a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of North Dakota.
