Facilities Maintenance

Facilities Maintenance is a pre-apprentice program sponsored by the Home Builders Institute. It is a competency-based curriculum that trains the student in basic repair and maintenance. Included in the training is the use of hand and power tools, plumbing, landscaping and lawn care, masonry, carpentry, electrical maintenance, heating and air conditioning repair, painting, and drywall repair. Students in this program can continue training in a construction or maintenance program. (Ex: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, building and apartment maintenance, and carpentry.)
